What We Train

Gi & No-Gi, every level

We train two ways — in the gi and without it. We make sure the fundamentals get covered, so a first-timer and a seasoned competitor can share the same mat. From there, everyone builds their own game.

Gi Jiu-Jitsu

Traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the kimono — grips, control, and the deep technical game that defines the art. Start with the fundamentals and build from there.

No-Gi Grappling

Trained without the kimono — a grip-free style that's become the standard in modern competition. Same step-by-step progression, from your first class.

What a class actually looks like

Gi or no-gi, the shape of the hour is the same. If you have never trained before, this is what you are walking into.

  1. 1 · Warm-up

We start by getting everyone moving and loose. It is not a fitness test — the point is to arrive at the technique ready to work, not wrecked before you have learned anything.

  2. 2 · Technique

A coach shows the position or sequence for the day and breaks it down step by step, then walks the room while you try it. Fundamentals get covered every class, so a first-timer and a competitor can work the same material at their own depth.

  3. 3 · Drilling

You pair up and repeat it with a partner at a pace where you can actually think. This is where the detail sinks in. New people get put with partners who will look after them and talk them through it.

  4. 4 · Rolling

Live training, where you put it together against someone resisting. It is controlled and supervised, and nobody gets thrown into hard rounds on day one — you go at the pace you are ready for.

Come as you are for a first class: athletic clothes without zippers and some water. You do not need a gi to start.
